Bring Down the House: How to Beat Vegas - Week 4
Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys – DET ML at +135
Stafford has been building more and more confidence with his fantastic receiving corps as well as what looks to be the emergence of Kerryon Johnson and they will build on that after a win against Tom Brady. The Dallas offense is basically Zeke Elliot and I don’t see him keeping up with the Lions offense all on his own.
Cleveland Browns at Oakland Raiders – CLE ML at +130
Baker Mayfield is going to turn the Browns into a whole different team. They may not win the Super Bowl any time soon but the offense should be good enough to score easily on the weak Raiders defense but the nearly as weak Raiders offense is going to have a hard time with the Browns not having to keep their defense on the field for 80% of the game.
San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Chargers– LAC -10.5 at -110
The Chargers have been disappointing in the W column so far but their problem has not been scoring points, it’s been stopping high powered offenses from scoring points. That should not be an issue at home against a Beathard led 49ers.
New Orleans Saints at New York Giants – Over 50 at -110 The Saints have already scored over 40 twice on their own against weak defenses and the Giants certainly fall in that category. The Giants finally got a win against Houston last week so hopefully that momentum carries over while they are trying to keep up with Drew Brees and the Saints.
Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers – PIT -3 at -120 This is Big Ben at home in prime time in a division game. The Baltimore defense is obviously superior to the Steelers but Flacco will just not be able to keep up offensively with Ben, Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster. I’d go in on the half line here as well.
